Drag Illustrated Magazine 2024 Magazine Advertising Terms and Conditions
The following outlines the general terms and conditions for advertising in both the U . S . print and digital editions of Drag Illustrated Magazine (" the Magazine "), published by Drag Illustrated Media (" the Publisher ").
1 . Rates & Circulation : Rates are determined by our verified readership metrics , effective from January 2023 . Any changes in rates or readership will be announced prior to the advertising sales close date for the affected issue . Our Rate Card provides detailed information on publication schedules and on-sale dates .
2 . Readership Verification : The Magazine adheres to industry-standard verification methods for its readership , which includes paid , verified , and analyzed non-paid circulation .
3 . Full-Run Qualification : Advertisers with a full-run ad in the Magazine will automatically appear in both print and digital editions unless explicitly opted out in writing by the ad close date . Opting out may affect the benefits associated with a full-run placement . Special units like pop-ups , scent strips , and die cuts may not qualify for digital editions . Consult a magazine representative for further details .
4 . Cancellation & Changes : No cancellations or changes to advertising are allowed after the Magazine ' s closing dates .
5 . Liability for Errors : The Publisher is not responsible for errors or omissions in any advertising materials provided by the advertiser or its agency .
6 . Ad Rejection : The Publisher reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertising at any time . Ads that mimic editorial content or are not clearly identifiable as ads are not acceptable .
7 . Legal & Ethical Compliance : All ads are published under the representation that the advertiser and agency have the legal right to publish the content in all applicable formats . The advertiser and agency will indemnify the Publisher against any legal actions or claims arising from the ad ' s publication .
8 . Promotional Services : If the Publisher provides additional services like contest management or promotional services , the advertiser and agency will indemnify the Publisher against any losses arising from these services .
8 . Promotional Reference : Advertisers and agencies must obtain prior written permission from the Publisher for any promotional or merchandising reference to the Magazine .
9 . Contract Conditions : No conditions on contracts , orders , or copy instructions conflicting with these Terms and Conditions or the Rate Card will be binding on the Publisher . These Terms and Conditions supersede any conflicting conditions .
10 . Ad Placement : The Publisher reserves the right to place ads anywhere in the Magazine . Requests for specific placements are considered but not guaranteed . Failure to meet these requests does not relieve the advertiser of payment obligations .
11 . Force Majeure : The Publisher is not liable for failure to publish or circulate any part of the Magazine due to circumstances beyond its control , such as strikes , natural disasters , etc .
12 . Agency Commission : Recognized agents may receive up to a 15 % commission on gross advertising charges after earned advertiser discounts .
13 . Payment Terms : Invoices are issued around the Magazine ' s on-sale date and are due within 20 days . Late payments may incur a monthly interest charge of 1.5 % or the highest rate permitted by law .
14 . Confidentiality : Pricing information is confidential and may not be disclosed without the Publisher ' s written consent .
15 . Discounts & Rebates : Negotiated discounts are valid only during the period they are earned . Unused rebates expire six months after the earning period .
16 . Exclusions : Creative fees and special print production premiums do not earn discounts or agency commissions . 17 . Terms Modification : The Publisher reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions .
